If for example you had gains and those gains have now deminished as the market falls you’ve lost your past gains. If you don’t think that is the market taking some of your past gains from you, then I don’t know how else to break to you sector.
As a past renter, I think I did ok sector. In fact I think I did better than some who got fooled into thinking buying during peaks are a ‘good time to buy’.
