I'm not a trader but have done quite a few day trades & making huge losses. It's to a point has nearly wiped off my entire capital now. I'm now sitting on 50k+ losses from Feb'18-jun'18. Tax time now in July & my tax agent has asked for trades done to show these losses. Although I've some of the summaries from my trading account, but some other trading accounts are not so friendly. My agent says we need to define each trade "buy" & "sell". Well that's now running a few pages of detail transactions. What better way do I have to show these CG losses. Please anyone recommend. Or else I will have to enter all trades manually equating the buy against sell and show the loss. Any suggestions guys.
