Once the dust settles watch the banks offshore funding issues come back to bite with a vengeance. I can't imagine our foreign lenders dropping their rates in unison with our cash rate. It's more than probable any local cut in rates will make international borrowing more expensive.
If it really hits the fan and credit dries up, expect another downgrade of the big four - pushing up the borrowing costs further.
