Well it's on topic. Right through the ages humans have discovered new resources and new ways to use them. From whale and seal oil to crude oil and gas. I often wonder was it purposely made for us to use as we evolved (without getting biblical) I think it was. And i think with new tech coming along to use it better it should be around for a long time. Right across the resource sector theirs new ideas on a weekly basis trying to make old products better. That's what humans do, that's why it's called evolution. So to lock up resources is foolish i think, when they can be made better in the long run.
