Hi Thofu. IP is "intellectual property" - like a patent in a way. It is a special safeguarded tech in our case to refine rare earth concentrate. China controls +85% of rare earth refining - with only Australian company Lynas Rare Earths that has significant production outside of China.
ARU has the IP from its long partnership with ECE China - which has now ceased. The IP is of great value and comes at great expenditure and many years. All reo deposits vary in many ways and require specific refining challenges. The IP of refining rare earths is obviously of great monetary value and much sought after. Then magnets are the next phase and again very few at this stage have the IP for such with China again and Japan at the top of that chain. It will all evolve over time and become more available inevitably.
