• The biggest focus is signing more offtakes this year since the demo plant has been fully commissioned
• One term sheet signed with Verkor expected to be translated into a binding offtake this year
• Last 6 months have had a focus on customer discussions at higher levels within the company, not just the project procurement team
• They have been successful in continuing discussions at a higher level (i.e the strategic group or C-Suite executives)
• Interesting to note that the higher up decision makers do not understand the HPMSM market (mostly due to the material being the least expensive battery material in cathodes leading to less focus on the material)
• EMN used a well known consultancy to provide a independent view of the market to these executives and stated that " It is yielding positive results"
• Matt recognizes that the process has been slow but they are progressing well to announce further offtakes in the near future

Also good to note that project level investments are under discussion and Matt says that they hope to close them by the end of the year but may drag into early 2025.
