I would be interested regarding the Kiln and FEED study done by FLSmidth for TMT,, is this a step that AVL+ would need to do themselves after Wood Group have finished the OFS? Also is the current AVL processing flow sheet optimised for the high fe ti recoveries from yarrabubba, or will that require reworking? maybe even pilot plant tests again?
Mainly trying to guage how much work both AVL/TMT already put in can be carried over, vs how deeply 'revised' do they feel they need to go in this 'optomisation' phase.
i.e., are we wake up one day in 3 years and they have finally got an OFS done, and it's taken that long due to all the new test work and process reworking that they felt was required,, again? (I personally don't expect this outcome, but who knows maybe Graham has already decided that neither TMT or AVL's work fits that great for what is trying to be achieved combined, so basically do it all again, (albeit with already quite a few knowns to save time))
@LewisB don't expect this to go in your email, just thinking out loud regarding some of the things that aren't 100% clear in my head atm.
