They were not too far behind with their resource update announcement (I think 2 weeks max after it was expected), so i'll give them some leeway here as the OFS is a more substantial undertaking than the resource update (I would think).
"Phase 1" sounds like it's main goal was to inform the decision of which parts of AVL vs TMT development paths present the best opportunity for success.. Which makes a bit of sense as to why this would be done first and announced, then phase 2 or whatever else needs to be done to get the 'bankable' part ready for finance talks can go on in the background.
They technically wouldn't need to release any results until the OFS is finished I guess, but development pathway is a pretty big variable that it would be nice to inform investors about as soon as management know.
