The OGC chart looks like a thing of beauty... :D It's got traders fingerprints all over it. As a swing trade entry, I'll be looking for a bounce to the downtrend line, then a minor pullback, daily pivot, break of said pivot (EQUALS ENTRY, should correspond to $2.50ish); break of recent high equals a double bottom with a price target of ~$3.10, which corresponds to the prior swing high level of ~$3.10, a break of this equals a triple bottom with a price target of ~$4, which corresponds to the prior swing high level of ~$4. Love the fractal nature of the OGC chart.
In terms of costs, OGC is slightly better than average (I think the global cash operating cost per ounce is about $650 these days).
Fund managers don't have a clue, as investors they're quite lousy, most of 'em use intel from research houses to determine whether to BUY or SELL, for instance if Patterson's puts out a sell recco they go rushin for the doors and vice versa; if you can work out which funds use which research group and determine the size of the holding that needs to be sold/bought, you can make good coin piggybacking of the fund and the advice they've just received.
