Sorry reread my post and I didn't mean to convey the tone that it may have sounded like.
The most important thing I've learned about charting is that while they can tell you some very useful things sometimes, there are many times when they tell you nothing useful at all. It can be difficult to refrain from seeing things that aren't there while waiting for the tea leaves to form a picture. 'Confirmation bias' I think they call it. The best chartists I've come across are their own harshest critics and will happily say 'nothing to see here' and move on.
IMHO we are currently in one those 'no mans land' areas. Perhaps others that use indicators might see something I can't.
