so are you growing your equity curve or watching it decline? If you cannot grow your equity curve by the same acceleration rate of the accumulation index each year you are not a money manager. This is regardless of what you achieved in the previous year. That is in year 1 if you got 20% and the accumulation index rose only 18% it does not mean you can slack off in year 2.
