    Thats exactly what it comes down to. No matter how good a transplant is and no matter how many viable hearts you have, unless you can build an artificial heart to replace a heart transplant then the number of available hearts is trivially snall compared to demand; whereas cpulse, vads, etc have effectively unlimited supply.
