I'm sure the ASX will be watching this run like a hawk after the NA deal was the worst kept secret in history.

I'm also sure those paragons of virtue at the AFR will be watching closely. Their 'weekend edition' needs some more sacrificial lambs to slander so they can sell their gossip rag... See: Headline "300 MILLION DOLLAR CLASS ACTION" that actually turns out to be less than 1/8th of the reported figure.
Any sniff of a leak and those self-proclaimed "journos" will be all over it, sniffing their own f@rts and dislocating-their-elbows-patting-themselves-on-the-back for weeks.

I assume Shifty's Corporate Governance is pretty tight atm - with PWC in there, new General Counsel and Board shift. Doesn't mean leaks can't come from other parts of the org, but I'd hope they've fixed their sh!t by now and learnt their lesson.

Not sure how much more bad press Shifty can handle.

GSW has four issues to resolve.

Class Action
ASIC
Is the software really that great and are Amazon et al real
Meaningful massive revenue growth.

Class Action is unresolved and a risk, but do they have insurance or not to cover a hit?
ASIC should be OK with PwC and New board members
I think the stock is moving on volume not because of insider trading. I think we just got a strong indication of the resolution of the third issue with the Press Release about new ex IBM CTO. What better confirmation do you need that the software IS real and Amazon IS on board than a senior IBM executive signing on after a month of due diligence.
If the software is real and Amazon et al are in progress, then issue 3 will be resolved in due course. GSW already told us that some of the bigger deals would take time to integrate to new systems etc.

Anyway that's why I have been buying up a storm. I am a fundamentalist and implementer of IBM Planning Analytics software (which leverages off Watson tech), so watching every trade and tech analysis is a bit foreign to me. I just see improving odds of buying the next Afterpay or Wisetech, when they were 70 cents.
