I think GSW and BIG have exposed gaps in the ASX reporting and listing requirements. Mining companies can't get away with putting out hypothetical projections of revenue thanks to the JORC requirements (hence why MUS was slapped on the wrist), but there is nothing similar for SAAS companies like GSW. I think the ASX now see that there is a problem here.

BIG is a little different in that the major problem right now is the reputation of the CEO. It is not a good look for the ASX if it allows listed companies to have CEOs with convictions for blackmail.

Where the ASX should clamp down is on all the Chinese companies that are not being run for the benefit of all shareholders. How the ASX doesn't see that there is a problem when there are companies with MCs under their reported profit is beyond me.
