The only reason we will have this retarded emission trading scheme is because the merchant bankers want it. Otherwise we would have a simple, uncomplicated carbon tax.
In two years time, the new "master of the universe" feted super-genius will be some merchant banker who manipulates the emission trading market and makes $5 billion without actually producing anything useful.
