OTTAWA - Finance Minister Jim Flaherty and his G7 counterparts offered no help Tuesday to help lift Europe out of the financial and banking mess that is weakening the global economy.
With fears escalating that the eurozone crisis is sideswiping western economies, G7 finance ministers and central bank heads held a teleconference to discuss the situation and agreed to keep tabs on it.
Most of the countries on the call are feeling the effects of the turmoil, including the U.S. ‹ Canada's largest trading partner which said last week growth is being stifled and reported dismal job growth for May and a jump in the unemployment rate.
Flaherty has always maintained that if the U.S. gets sucked into the European vortex, Canada would follow ‹ but not as deeply.

the longer the G7 can wait...the better.....as long as the punters are still chasing the dangling carrot.....the printing press.....we should be ok......
what of course will probably happen is a sell off once actions are taken formally.....
seeing cats have been of vogue lately.......the cat and mouse story
