    re: looks like corby is innocent Isn't it the case that the defence has to show that she is innocent, rather than (as in Australian law) that the prosecution has to show that she is guilty beyond reasonable doubt.

    If that is the case, the Australian Govt should be applying pressure, through international forums probably, to change that.

    In the meantime, pressure from the Australian Govt. (DFAT, Justice Dept, etc.) on this particular case is appropriate as there is certainly lax security within domestic airports at the level of baggage handling. Any conviction would be unsafe under Australian law, but this is Indonesia.

    Case has now been adjourned again, so more time for pressure on them.
