Even if every Asian nation followed China and mandated no more coal plants be built, there will still likely be a market for thermal coal for something like another half century.

Australian climate warriors need to get pragmatic, instead of idealistic. Face the fact that coal will continue to be burned for decades, and push the operators to use the cleanest coal available, instead of whatever rubbish they can buy the cheapest.

PS. I currently have no interests, directly or indirectly, in coal, or oil and gas companies (including through super). I do have interests in two lithium companies (one producing, one hoping to produce) and one company that is trying to get into the HPA market (all battery related).
