oh oh... pybar!!!, page-2

I know shit about mining contractors but downramping on a sample case of one strikes me as pretty lazy ... and whether a mine is profitable depends on many factors ...

Just googled Pybar and checked some hits. They mostly read along the lines of this one:

"Starra 276 mine is on track to deliver ore to Osborne in February 2013. Contract mining tender was awarded to Pybar Mining Services, to consolidate all underground mining and maintenance activities at Osborne, ..."

or this one

"Kimberley Metals (ASX: KBL) remains on track to meet production of copper concentrates from the Parkers Hill deposit .... Mining contractor Pybar has provided underground mining services at Parkers Hill for Kimberley. The contractor has been on-site since December last year ..."

Can't be THAT horrible from the looks of it. And Hera* should be rather simple. Also, the plant etc is done by other contractors ...


*Nymagee deeps, now that's another story, but we still got years to look for the best providers for that (open pittable surface ore is good for 2 years) - and you can bet that Glencore will give lots of input on the question ...
