oh&s gone to far

I know OH&S is important but I think it goes to far and stifles production.

IMO accidents still happen regards. Seems that it was used to reduce unemployment. Now days it takes two people to do one man job in some situations.

Had one staff complain that a step was to high. Had to get it looked at and no problem. Fine for the staff member but it cost me.

Then come Monday the weekend activities are aired about how they layed concrete or dug a garden or moved house.

Concrete job. Mixed up 12 bags in the wheel barrow with a spade, dam hard on the back but still did it.

Garden. Built a raised garden bed. Needed to get 2 ton of soil and had to shovel it in the wheel barrow then push about 50 m then shovel it in.

Moved house. Well we all know how that goes, fridge washing machine have stuff up many a back..

Then they come into work and bitch about a step that's be there for years and years lol.
