    The article doesn't say how many workers were injured or what their injuries were or whether they could afford the proper medical care.

    5 dead on one building site.
    I wouldn't call that a good record by any stretch.

    I remember the Army before OH&S and the amount of injuries was a lot. Anyone injured permanently was fixed as much as they could medically and then discharged, after that they had to fight to get any compensation.
    After 1986 when the Army actually adopted OH&S it changed considerably. It was much easier to get compensated.
