Oh well....... another year!!!

Well, here we come to the close of another year for the PIF fraternity. A year that has seen the last of our hopes dwindle with a realisation that the likelihood of us receiving any worthwhile return from what’s left of our investment is decidedly remote.

However, “Santa Freddy” has made some encouraging statements. There is a faint chance that he might just understand that in his own words, at virtually no cost, he has gained control of, not an Insurance Company or other miss-run run conglomerate, but what in many cases, is the life savings of many (often naive) very senior citizens, who trusted their financial planners and a , to invest their future in the PIF. It would be nice to think that Freddy would follow the lines of Buffet, Bates or Forest, and really work for us as shareholders – but I stopped believing in Santa some 70 years ago.

Anyway, without being too nostalgic, for those that believe, a very holy and happy Christmas, and hopefully a more prosperous New Year. For those who don’t believe, the same wishes for a happy Christmas and more prosperous New Year, and a thank you for celebrating a believer’s time of the year. MiaGain aka John H
