Sure the operating costs have gone up, but that is still a good gold price for a decent deposit.

Irrespective, the gold equities market has a prime driver being the US$ price. Your points are valid, and are ignored until shareholders twig to the fact that their wonderful gold stock is not actually making as much money as they thought! (Then they still tend to ignore it!LOL)
