What I meant or rather alluded to, was J. Howard political history (background) which is anything BUT left. In other words J. Howard would not even know where the Fabian Society firstly was established.
As to the Turkish cities (Ankara, Istanbul, Izmir) I included there were a direct reference to your "nom de plume", KISMET...
As you know the name KISMET comes to us via Turkey and it means destiny or the fulfilment of destiny.
(Etymologically however the name Kismet derives from an old Persian word "qismet" which means "portion" or "the lot"....).
