i just reread some of that StateOne Stockbrokering report & here is just one bit of the 7 page report. the last sentence suggests that management are very confident about getting contracts for aeroparts.


Quickstep has already been accepted as an approved tenderer by the major Original Equipment Manufacturers, and several requests for quotes have been received. Quickstep is currently bidding on a number of aerospace parts contracts with primary and secondary structure Tier 1 suppliers in Germany, the UK, Spain and the US. The bids involve specific parts (to be produced both in autoclave and out of autoclave) on aircraft either in production or soon to commence production. The value of individual contracts sought ranges up to almost $A100 million.
In addition Quickstep is involved in ongoing discussions with different divisions of Airbus and Eurocopter to develop out of autoclave technology and qualify the processes for high volume manufacturing parts out of autoclave using the Quickstep process.
These discussions are expected to see contracts being awarded to Quickstep and announced before mid 2009.
