In relation to this previous message I meant to add that I would expect Halcyon to retain 100% of the gold with a partner sharing only the nickel !
As mentioned previously, a company needs a large area under it's control and a team of dedicated,experienced geologists to unravel the geological value of these areas. Fortuitously, Halcyon has both ! Hamish Halliday, the geo has a good record and is very professional. Andrew, the site manager worked previously on Placer Domes "Paddington" ground immediately to the south of Halcyons's Bardoc land.This is now a massive open cut gold mine. Andrew has a strong belief that Halcyon's land can replicate "Paddington" !
I'm not privy to the drilling results, but as reported previously, following earlier indications, and in light of the above comments and previous drilling indications going back to the 80's, I'm sure the gold assays will be positive.Some perhaps around the 10-12 g/t. Don't expect the "bonanza" 1000g/t just yet.
I'm purely guessing on this aspect, but I wouldn't be surprised if some sort of a JV /farm in on the nickel is in the wind. Inco???? / Placer???? or the like. Some pundits are forecasting nickel to reach the $20,000/ton Posiedon levels !!!!!!
I'm speculating here, but I would expect the timing of such news to be imminent and not all in one release to the market.
