So do we have power or don't we have power? I think this highlights one of the key points that @ans25 has been pointing out, that it's imperative that we have our own set of boots on the ground over there - ideally permanently.

And I'm not talking about sitting on a sofa, which has a mattress thrown behind it for 'Guyana time' afternoon naps either, reading a damn newspaper and taking meaningless media shots.

But is Watt's the man? It's a genuine question as I don't know his CV in the Li / REE space but it is concerning that in a period from 30 August 2017 we go from plans to use an excavator (see above) to 19 days later in September, as the competent person, he signs off that too early to discuss further work.

I ask this in the context of noticing last night from that 17 October 2016 announcement highlighted by @gcdany the much-lauded appointment of Borg at the time. Do we need to engage a 'specialist' again or are we always going to be hobbled by our partners at this stage as to what activities we pursue? Who actually drives this - can anyone enlighten me?



I guess, the once speculated around here, cloud cover is preventing those 'planned' aerial surveys from happening still @fooca - btw will you please stop presenting facts with the intention of buying in, I'm watching you!

You know if I could vote on who I'd have on the ground overseeing everything I'd personally go with @ans25 or @apkjm.
