cwl, in vague memory of the last time this happened, the market rallied about 4%+ the next session, then continued to rally for some weeks before slumping some months later to a low. Would need to do more research but thats what i recall. This situation is bound to be different in some critical respects so just ride it for as long as it lasts I reckon. As Mr Dow said - the original - no one knows how long a trend is going to last, just ride it to the end.
