The Republican candidate is holding a knife edge lead in this Ohio
electorate. It is a seat held by the Republicans for over thirty years
and it looks like even if the Republican wins, the closeness by the
Democrat candidate augurs well for the Democrats chances in the
general mid term elections in three months time including a re-run in this
electorate. The Republican leads by a skinny margin and the over
3000 provisional votes being counted will decide the outcome.
If the margin in this election is less than 0.5% then a recount will occur.
