Well you do have to look at the whole picture as confusing as it is, that's just how economics works, what really matters is that there is a major problem with transportation in Australia, basically if you don't live within 10Klm's of a CBD your in the poo as far as public transport is concerned and there is absolutely no argument that can be presented to show that using public transport is not only good for the planet (for those who might care) but makes financial sense as well, in all likelihood it will cost you more to use public transport than it does to use your own car, that leaves the pushbike or you might invest in a little 50cc scooter don't forget to wear your tin hat, what really hits home is a simple fact petrol jacking has increased by 150% over the last year, people are in trouble, they steal petrol to get around and clearly don't have the cash for public transport which let's face it "should be free" not sold off so mates can get a bigger slice of the ever diminishing cake and if you add in the fact that government believes it needs a GST hike to 15% just to maintain the present spending habits of the elitists in parliament and recognize that every farmer in the country needs to invest heavily in new infrastructure and re-design their farming practices because of the weather all of which is going to drive food prices very high and sadly create a massive increase in the amount of foods we import, well this country is in big trouble and there is not anyone in government capable of looking at these problems and certainly nobody capable of bringing in a plan to negate what is going to be a very hard country to live in for our children and by the look of it even us as well.
