Everyone remains fixated on the US. Why?

The idea that Saudi is 'targeting US shale' is utterly laughable. US remains a net consumer/importer. No-one is focused on the dire situation in UK, being now a long term energy deficit. It is the growth in the UK energy deficit that is becoming insurmountable and destabilising. Not since 1978 has the UK been this dependent on foreign energy.

The link below is does not help the UK energy outlook either with the failure of the shale gas future in the UK.

The Saudi's are helping, not hindering. US shale is purely a distraction to what is going on elsewhere. Whatever floats your boat I guess.
