OIL Annual Report 2018

After many years and a substantial expenditure of funds Zeiss Convivo was unveiled in Boston and Venice (OIL announcements 10/10/2017 and 19/10/2017) incorporating OIL technology. On 31/05/2018 a brief OIL announcement declared (ambiguously) that CE MARK approval had been gained. Unusually neither of these achievements was mentioned in the OIL 2018 Annual Report (which has now been mailed) despite these omissions being notified to the Chairman on 04/09/2018.

Of course he also failed to notify shareholders of the date his elevation to CEO, CFO and marketing leader. If we don't know the date of his appointment I wonder how shareholders can determine the fairness or otherwise of the proposed grant of  1,100.000 performance rights.

I believe part of the problem is demonstrated in "Information on directors" within "Other current directorships" and "Former directorships (last 3 years)" where the disclosure for each director is "none and "none".

I await with interest the OIL announcement of FDA approval for Zeiss Convivo.
