    The reaction to $47 could well have been linked to the 4 Cabinet resignations in the USA. In particular, Energy Secretary Abraham.

    The others who resigned included Powell, Education Secretary Paige and Agriculture Secretary Veneman.

    About the time of those announcements, the DOW and NASdaq equally dipped.
