Whilst WPL finished up on Friday it certainly lacked certainty. A late sell off saw it finish at mere 1% gain for the day which was a shade of its mid day strength. Coupled with the lightest volume this year and it was a rather dismal performance especially compared to STO which solidly bounced off long term support (how obvious was that move). WPL has been sold heavy on the match all week including yesterday.
IMO this will test recent lows in the 38's esp with the oil and commodity prices taking a breather. BHP still looking short too.
I maintain a downwarad momentum on WPL unless she closes above 42 this run and the consolidation remains above 40.60
