Swedish scammers are posing as investment managers and cold calling Australians with offer of shares in fake overseas companies in the latest of a series of rip-off schemes.
The group, calling themselves Stonewall Finance Ltd, have been ringing and emailing unsuspecting Australians to offer them shares in offshore company Australian Biofunds Investments Ltd and some people are believed to have taken up the offer.
The scam is the latest in a series of illegal investment schemes in which Australians have lost more than $400 million over the last six years to fraudsters pretending to represent large brokers or investment houses.

2 offer to but loads and never pay. they cannot do a thing and you'll give them trubble. That's what i did once and had fun doing it. once they get your purchase of stock over the phone they pester you for the do ray me. keep em goin, make up stories like your bank manager was instructed to send the money, you'll get back to him, etc etc. wait for the scammers to call you. they will. just keep fobbing em orf. good fun. well i thought so when i did it.
