How is everyone under these trying conditions?.. I hope you are all safe and well.

    With Disaster Comes Opportunity
    .
The world is changing under our noses at a lightning pace, and we are seeing a rapid decline in oil prices. History has shown that the acquisition of oil can largely determine a countries wealth. With the the signs of oil companies going bankrupt, It leaves one to ponder and hypothesis the possibilities this can bring.

    ENTER CORONA VIRUS COVID 19
The Earth is finally being able to breathe as the globe stands still. Rivers are running cleaner, pollution is clearing up with an estimated 90% reduction in mobility. We are witnessing a massive downturn on the global financial market, all brought on by a single celled organism.

    The Changing Of The Guard
As the world sleeps in lock down, the oil tycoons are falling one by one. What a perfect, and almost choreographed opportunity for a new world to emerge, a cleaner world, a world skeptical of it's past, a renewable and sustainable world, a world that has been begging and yearning for an environmental shift for decades and more recently, with the likes of, (dare i say it), Greta Thunberg. Inadvertently the environment is finally being heard. It's almost as if Mother nature is directly responding to our calls

As i was reading the article attached, it occurred to me that a 'Changing of the Guard' is imminent. The world will shift its thinking back to local production, a world less reliant on overseas imports, and more reliance placed on community business and support. A world that is hygienic, and less polluted world focused on renewable energies.

    The Aftermath of a Supernova
It is my hope and opinion, that after the dust has settled on this pandemic, we will emerge in a new world focused on changing for the better with a collective shift in priorities, values, and hopefully, a moral aim to help protect this planet and it's inhabitants.

To me the writing is on the wall. Electric vehicles and renewable industries will be the new oil for the new world. The massive decline in demand and value of oil leaves a sizeable gap that can only be filled with renewable commodities.

I would love to hear peoples take on the current situation and give thought to possible outcomes. It's not all doom and gloom, in fact i feel excited about this dramatic change in our lives, I was starting to feel quite glib and negative towards the mundane and predictable nature of the world pre Corona pandemic. I'm feeling more optimistic about the world and the implications that this situation brings everyone, it's made me realise that we are more connected than we all had previously thought, and it's forced me to evaluate what is important to me, and it has literally pushed me to change the way I work in an instant.
