because they ran ahead of the spike - now they will pick up as oil falls - standard market confused state. Actually its speccy money flowing from asset class to asset class - oil to biotechs to tech to silver to gold to property to bonds and back to oil - they run em up take profits and move on.
Herd mentality at its best.
