oil depletion

Very good recap on world oil depletion , a great reminder why this is a hold for a few years, most of the raving here are about micro critiquing ELKS every move, most of this is motivated through frustration that ELK wont perform in the time frame folks demand of it, the reality is that bringing these projects to fruition takes time, they have to pass through stages, these stages need to be funded, funding is always an expense against future cash flows and so decreases end value, the reality though is that US based oil reserves will become a strategic asset as depletion and the false claims of existing reserves by producers are found out. As we move forward depletion will become an increasingly mainstream story and ELK should be in the right spot at the right time in history.
