Oil : the coming of oil extraction platform at Nouakchott planned for October

Colonel Ely Ould Mohamed Vall head of the State very recently received the boss of Woodside who declared to have evoked with the president of the CMJD the provisions and measures taken by Woodside in order to guarantee the export of Mauritanian oil within the allowed time (at the end of 2005). Mr. Voelte also said to have reviewed with Colonel Ould Mohamed Vall, the partnership between Woodside and the Mauritanian State. He said that he is satisfied with the cordial climate in which the talks proceeded. It should be noted that the Minister for Energy and Oil, Mohamed Ali Ould Sidi Mohamed, also met the general manager of Woodside-Mauritania, Jon Osturgoi, which ensured him that all the technical and material provisions necessary to the oil extraction were taken.
