Not too late for Dorado, but imho probably would be a bit late now to be where we were with the Bedout a decade ago.

Saw something from the IEA today predicting between 145 and 230 mm electric vehicles by 2030. That’s only going to be about 10% of the fleet (at a guess), and furthermore we need to remember the demise of gas will be much later, and we will be producing our gas “assets” after Dorado oil.

Also worth noting that light vehicles only use a fraction of the oil produced. Some other uses not easily substituted at this stage.

Basically we’ve heard it all before, and the end of oil’s supremacy is definitely coming. But not quite like investing in video shops, or in coal mining for that matter.

Personally still looking replace my car with an electric one, but not sure about paying $70k plus for a Korean one that gives me the range I need. Any suggestions that gives me 400 km real world highway driving?

But just as an afterthought, won’t the index tell you where to place your bets?
