Ok there seems to be some confusion about what Im saying, firstly.
1 Goverments will not allow oil prices to remain high because high oil prices means crops will be used for fuel instead of eating. Oil prices will be forced down to a price where using crops for fuel is unprofitable.

2 coal to deisel is a great oil substitute, also gass, and oil companies will loose market share if oil remains high.
BP is in joint venuture with coal to liquids companies as we speak. They want to corner the market.

3 The world has more than enough gass for hundreds of years.

4 I looked at world consuption m onths ago and we have enough oil for about 1000yrs

5 oil is only 1% of world polution

6 China will be providing 20% of its fuel needs with liquified coal within by 20yrs, oil companies will no accept their market attacked like this.
