Enough oil for 1000 years.
Mate if only that were true.
Best estimates are there is 1 trillion barrels of RECOVERABLE oil remaining.
We use about 80 odd million barrels of oil PER DAY.
80 million x 365 days = lets say 30 billion barrels per year give or take.
That means there is about 30-40 years supply left at current demand.
Demand is increasing. Supply is probably now already at peak capacity, and will soon start to decline.
So within 50 years things are going to be extremely grim.
