re: oil futures to top out at $45 I dont know what it will top at, and the other thing is that the USD oil price is partly driven by the fall in the US Dollar - the price of oil hasnt risen anywhere near so much, if you measure it in Euros.

But -personally - I am damn confident that oil prices wont fall far.

Thus, sooner or later, the 'conventional' number of A$12/A$15 for reserves in the ground in Australia is going to be ratcheted up. And that does very, very good things to anyone owning production, reserves or exploration acreage.
