re: oil topping out me thinks My bet is that it will hit $60 before easing back a bit. Saying that I can't really see it falling under $50 in the near term either. The world appears to be able to purchase oil at $50 at will.
So at these prices the only thing that would lower the price would be a bigger increase in supply/production and we're not going to see that soon.
