Been a while, so will keep it brief.
1) Borehole Diameter, Density, Thickness of the sands (more interested in the net:gross ratio), porosity (presence of voids in the sands), permeability (whether these r interconnected) & fluid content (whether these porous sands have water/gas/cond/oil), Formation Pressure (in psi) & bottomhole temperature.
2) From the above, i.e thickness, porosity, fluid saturatn r critical as they r tied in with the area of the struc to calc the volumetrics. They know frm the seismics the areal extent of the sands & the structure.
3) Achieves everything mentioned in point 1.
They r not planning a production test (ie set casing, perforate it & then flare it), as they can get the reservoir fluid samples frm the logging tools alongwith the reservoir pressure.
IMO, next week should bring the news of what they've hit in each target. Remember, we dont need news on 'water bearing sands' as that could b deadly for the SP, we need news on 'presence of gas', how thick the sands were & the pressure within.
All the best chaps & have a safe chrissie & NY.
