ian thanks yes the main issues are social, legal and regulatory. What im on about is associated effencies technology ie make it more efficent in terms of conversion to energy - even solar energy has been raised from 15 - 30% in the last 2 years alone due to some very big european investments in R and D. Same for hydrogen fuel generation - 30% in 2000 up to the latest breakthroughts around 45% efficency levels - coal and LNG etc also being having lots of $$$ put inot additional research and new technologies.
