Surely the issue is not how it is formed but rather whether extracting oil continuously from underground, burning it and releasing carbon into the atmosphere will have a detrimental effect on the worlds ecosystem and climate.
I for one would not take that risk with my grand kids environment. The search for alternative fuels is the only way to go.
