$40 in 1991 is like $60 now. how can people watch their house triple in price over the same period, then whine about the cost of petrol? I paid a buck a litre in 1991, which was equiv to about 5 mins work.....now a litre costs me 1 mins work.
wait till it hits $60 and $70, oh the whining will be unbearable!
yeah yeah, I know the "high" oil price will soon affect the transport cost of goods, driving up inflation, but if you think $40 is as bad as it is gonna get, you are in for a shock.
