re: my theory bad news I can't imagine they'd be anything other than honestly searching for HC's. there was speculation that's been about for a while that any HC's may have migrated to South East of Pelican, which is where they've been looking. I would say that there's either been a lot of bad luck over a bunch of drills or else the area is more speculative than first appeared. A possible third explanation I suppose is that WPL's techies are way too highly paid for their supposed expertise in analysing the available data.
