Brian Noble's paid opinion pieces in Oil price are almost always bearish on oil.
You are correct though in the basic assumption that oil pricing is volitile and subject to many influences.
EV's, issues with supply, inventories, ego's, political, weather, Wall St......... +ve or -ve.
The oil majors have been in business for a long time and seem to have done very well for themselves, I think they will continue to in the future as well.
